Job description: My client, a renowned Accountancy and Financial services practice based in the heart of the City, is seeking a QBE Accountancy Practice Manager to oversee all office management functions. Duties will cover Financial Control, IT Management and Facilities Management. In regards to the financial aspect, the successful candidate will be managing a team of 4 accounts and finance staff, taking responsibility of the management accounts, credit control, ledger and reconciliation. As well as processing VAT returns you will also be required to conduct the budget management, annual QAD returns and oversee all company insurance arrangements. As well as supervising the company IT systems, you will oversee the IT team that cover desktop support, and all related, outsourced IT servicers. Exposure to overseeing IT functions is beneficial to ensuring processes, systems and contracts are running smoothly and correctly. Responsibilities within Facilities Management will require you to oversee the general facilities functions; cleaning contract and staff management, maintenance contract negotiation and ensuring SLAs are met, whilst also managing vending machine, stationery and data storage contracts.
