Job description:Responsible to the Shopping Centre Operations Manager and the General Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to move from a supervisor role into operations management.You will work alongside them, managing the team who daily provide a pleasant, safe and welcoming environment at a busy, well established shopping centre in Lancashire.?The Deputy Operations Manager deputises for the Operations Manager when required and is actively involved in the successful delivery of the annual business plan and service charge budget.?Consequently, you will be expected to make a major contribution to the management team?s efforts to exploit the opportunities that arise to improve the centre?s performance and financial returns.?The Deputy Operations Manager has a key role in assisting in the compilation and delivery of the centre?s Health and Safety initiatives, directing and auditing this function in partnership with Head Office teams and external providers.Your background will probably be in retail, security or facilities management and you will have experience of managing teams of colleagues and contractors.?Our client is a national owner/operator of shopping centres and retail destinations.
