Job description:My Client is looking for a Project Manager with a retail/ecommerce or even a telecoms background, please only apply if you have one if not all of these.
My client is replatforming their entire non-food online website, using industry leading technologies to provide a platform for growth and expansion.
The initial releases throughout this year will provide the platform upon which my client can deliver against its strategy of growing its non-food business to the same size as its food business, both within the UK and internationally.
This role is to provide initial support to the forward planning activities, ensuring the high level plan is supported by solid requirements, business cases and solutions. Key to this role therefore is the ability to establish momentum in a project.
A matrix management model is used to work cross function, so establishing strong lines of communication between these teams will be essential to ensure success!
We are moving to a more agile method of delivery, so experience of working in this type of environment would be ideal, as would experience in establishing this type of model within organisations.
Experience required
? Solid project management experience ideally gained within an ecommerce environment
? Experience of working cross function
? Working knowledge of the software development life cycle on large scale projects
? Be able to manage scope/change requests through the project lifecycle
? Working knowledge of Business Analysis techniques
? Strong interpersonal skills
? Strong communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels and different cultures
? Tenacity to drive the requirements process forward
? Be able to work as an individual and as part of a larger team
? Be able to work at a detailed level
